
Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi
has announced the launch of the Android 10 based MIUI Beta 10 program for the users
of Redmi K20 Pro. The company is looking to test Android 10 as a part of the
program. It is asking the above smartphone users to fill a Google form for
Android version updation.
The registration date will last till September 8 and the result
will be declared on September 11. Those who will get selected will be able to
access 'OTA update' and 'Android 10 Tester' and more.
Selection criteria include the user must be an active MI community
member in India. He/She needs to rank as 'Semi-Pro Bunny' or higher in Mi
Community ranking. Registered candidates must follow the rules and guidelines
and should not leak the ROM and other details during testing in-person, on
social media and any other platform.
The company says the registered
user must have proficient knowledge of MIUI and Android. Being a special member
Xiaomi will give some major responsibilities to him/her.
Apart from Android updation, selected users will get an exclusive
Android 10 tester medal and a chance to attend launch events of top performers.

To recall, Redmi K20 Pro was launched at Rs 28,990 in India last
month. The smartphone features Snapdragon 855 SoC, triple rear camera, pop-up
selfie camera and runs on Android Pie. As per a report, Xiaomi is already
running Android 10 test program in China.
