FAU-G, the Indian alternative to PUBG, Announced by Akshay Kumar after the China app ban

FAU-G is said to be an India-made PUBG mobile alternative being published by Bengaluru-based nCore Games, and Indian sports industry giant Vishal Gondal and actor Akshay Kumar also promoted the FAU-G game on Twitter.

FAU-G owes less to the Fearless and United-Guards, and tweets promoting the game say it will donate 20 percent of its revenue to the Veer of India, a government fund-raising initiative. However, FAU-G's release date is not yet known. It is also not clear how much minimum specification should be required to run this game in mobile or it will also get a PC version.

Entrepreneur Vishal Gondal, who is the CEO of fitness wearable manufacturer GOQii, posted a tweet on Friday to reveal the development of FAU-G. Gondal, who founded India's Games in 1999, which he sold to Disney in 2011, invested an undisclosed amount in nCore Games in March last year and is serving the startup as a strategic advisor Huh.

Apart from Gondal, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has promoted the development of FAU-G through his Twitter account. A poster suggesting the game's story has also been shared on the microblogging site. It is considered a contribution by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the "Atma Bharat" (Self-reliant India) campaign.

The FAU-G announcement comes after the government banned PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite, as you all know PUBG Mobile, a battle royale game was quite popular among young Indian mobile gamers.

NCore Games, founded in 2018, does not yet have any popular games on Google Play under its developer profile. However, the company's site suggests that Angry Birds manufacturer Rovio is one of its partners. The company also served as a partner on the popular mobile Battle Arena game, Vainglory.

Gaming is slowly gaining momentum in India and PM Modi talked about an indigenous game industry a few days before the PUBG mobile ban. In August last year, a fighter-based mobile game titled Indian Air Force: A Cut Above Ab was released. The game has over 10,00,000 downloads on Google Play so far.
