The latest smartphone to be
included in Xiaomi's Mi 10 lineup is the Mi 10 Ultra. The phone was unveiled at
a virtual event today to mark the company's 10th anniversary.
The imaging capabilities of
the phone are a major highlight of the smartphone which is expected to be
included in the Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, and Mi 10 Lite of the portfolio. This year
Xiaomi unveiled its two phones in February which were Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, while
Xiaomi's Mi 10 Lite was launched in March. Xiaomi also launched the Mi 10 in
India in May. However, the other two phones have not yet been released in
India.

The starting price of Mi 10
Ultra is Rs.57,000 for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The phone will also be sold for
8GB + 256GB variant for Rs.60,100. The phone's 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB
variants can be priced at Rs.64,400 and Rs.75,200 in India.
Xiaomi says that the Mi 10
Ultra will be offered in Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver and a Transparent
Edition. Sales of the phone will start in China on August 16. There is no
word on international release at this point.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra specifications
The Mi 10 Ultra runs on MIUI
12 based on Android 10, and in this phone, you get a refresh rate of up to 120Hz
as well as a 6.67-inch full-HD + OLED display. It is powered by an octa-core
Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with 16GB LPDDR 5 RAM.
There is also up to 512GB
UFS 3.1 storage onboard. According to Xiaomi, Mi 10 Ultra comes with VC liquid
cooling, multi-layer graphite, thermal sensor array, and Graphene for effective
temperature management of the phone. This will also enable the phone to not get
too get while playing intensive games.
On the imaging front, the Mi
10 comes with an ultra quad rear camera setup that features a 48-megapixel main a camera that also includes a custom-made image sensor.
The other three rear rooms
are included in the phone, one is a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter
camera, the other is given a 12-megapixel portrait camera and the third is a
telephoto shooter for 120x ultra-zoom, which is included Probably also called
hybrid zoom, which is essentially optical zoom and digital combined. Zoom to

Apart from this, the laser
auto-focus and Flickr sensor is also provided. 8K video can be recorded from

phone. The phone has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging
which takes just 23 minutes to fully charge the battery.
The phone supports 50W
wireless fast charging for fast charging, so that the phone is fully charged in
just 40 minutes. To ensure that consumers are also given a compatible charger,
the company is also launching a 55W wireless charging stand that supports EPP
specifications. Charger costs around Rs. 2,100. Apart from this, reverse
wireless charging is also supported in the phone 10W.
Talking about other features
of the phone, Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra gives you an in-display fingerprint sensor,
dual stereo speakers, USB Type-C, and NFC.
